Love & Care: "Birthday Wishes"

Oh yes...another birthday card.  I was on a mission to get some birthday cards made.  The flowers were made from the (level 2) hostess stamp set from the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog, Love & Care.  This is another one of my current favorite sets out of the Summer Mini Catalog.  I have also added pearls to this card which makes it that much more beautiful.  You can purchase the pearls on my website where you will get 1 sheet of the basic pearls which has 50 each of 3 different sizes on them for a total of 150.  Even with putting 4 pearls on this card you will still have 146 left for many other cards.  Don't be afraid to put a few pearls on a card like I was...we have plenty more where those came from if you run out!

Bobbi's Stamping Supplies:
Stamps:  Love & Care, Bring on the Cake
Paper:  Concord Crush, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Cheerful Treat DSP
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade
Accessories:  Basic Pearls, 3/8" ruffled Ribbon-Lucky Limeade, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

Bring on the Cake

This is one of the cards I made for my last Stamp Camp. I don't know about you but I never have enough birthday cards. Thank you to Jessica on the DoStamperStars Team for my inspiration on this card. My upline, Dawn Olchefske, holds monthly team meetings where we have themed swaps. Since I am a longer distance demonstrator on our team I usually send my swaps as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get my package from Dawn in the mail each month. We have a really talented team and I get some awesome cards! I really like the Just Add Cake designer series paper so changed up the colors a bit and used a different embossing folder and there you have it a very pretty birthday card.

Christmas Recipe Book

Do you need a quick gift for Christmas?
How about a Christmas Recipe Book.
There is nothing more fun than baking for the holidays with
friend and then surprising that friend with a  little recipe book
of the very recipes you used.  How fun would that be?
I have added a link at the bottom of this post of instructions
on how to make this little "Clear Envelope Brag Book",
changed up a bit to make it
a "SUPER CUTE little Recipe Book"!
This is what it looks like in the inside.  Don't you  just love it!
I sure do!  It's so festive and very easy to make.
The main page color in this view is Old Olive Card Stock.
Then I changed it up a little and used Cherry Cobbler Card Stock,
one of my new favorite red colors.
Paper used:  Jolly Holiday DSP  Card Stock: Whisper White,
Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Classic Stampin' Pads:  Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Sets:  From the Kitchen of #114964
the snowflake is from Season of Joy #110384
Homemade #116978
Tote-ally Tess #118595 (for "The best things
in life are made, not bought.")
Favories Things #115436  (for the design around
"The best things in life are made, not bought.)
Punches:  Modern Label, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle,
2 1/2" Circle
Misc:  Crop-A-dile (for holes for ribbon)
1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon
Clear Translucent Envelopes
Here is a close-up of how I put the book together
with the holes punched with the Crop-A-dile and
then adding the 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon.
This is a close up of the front of the recipe book.  I punched
an Old Olive 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and placed it under
the stamped Homemade image.   Click on the web address
to get step-by-step instructions by Corrinne Sommerville posted
on Splitcoaststampers.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL time creating these awesome
little Christmas Recipe Books.  Let your imagination go wild
with all the different things you can do with this idea.
Recipe books, address books, brag books, etc.
The ideas are endless!  I hope you enjoy!
Have a "VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a
HAPPY NEW YEAR"!

Happy stamping,
Bobbi

Happy Moments - flowers in a package of gifts???

Today is the SAB Challenge for our DOstamperSTARS Blogger's Challenge. It is a SAB Challenge. Going in the box, I have chosen the Happy Moments Stamp Set. I love the flowers but thought then needed a flower pot. If you haven't figured out what I used...I used the pile of 3 gifts, cut off the bow and turned it upside down and there you have it...a "flower pot" for the 3 flowers. I also used the Scallop Trim Corner punch and double punched the corners and also the Scallop Trim Border punch. Gotta love those flowers even though they are sticking out of the bottom of a pile of gifts. Well, Valentine's Day is just around the corner...I wonder who the lucky person will be to receive this card.
Supplies used: Real Red, Pretty In Pink & Whisper White Cardstock, Scallop Trim Corner punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, Happy Moments Stamp Set, Real Red, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink Markers.
