Fabulous Florets: Happy Birthday Wishes

My "Out of the Box" creation today was made using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  Framelits are so much fun to use in card making.  I used a 2-Way Glue Pen and outlined the white lines on the flower and sprinkled on Dazzling Diamonds.  Unfortunately this doesn't show up very well on the picture but up close adds glitz to this beautiful card.  Woo Hoo!  Gotta LOVE glitz!  Don't be afraid to add Dazzling Diamonds to any card/project for additional sparkle!  This card was inspired by a card made by Mary Brown. I really liked how she made the bow using a brad and not having to tie it.  Mary's instructions for making this bow were very easy to follow.  I know a lot of people who hate to tie bows.  I'm not one of them, but this bow is so fun to make and turns out great every time.  This was a card we made at one of my Stamp Camps.  It was the first time introducing my guests to the technique.  The main thing is that the smaller the brad, you will want to use a narrower piece of ribbon.  Try this technique the next time you want to make a bow for a card.  Thank you again Mary for your inspiration on this card.  Happy bow making!
