Christmas Recipe Book

Do you need a quick gift for Christmas?
How about a Christmas Recipe Book.
There is nothing more fun than baking for the holidays with
friend and then surprising that friend with a  little recipe book
of the very recipes you used.  How fun would that be?
I have added a link at the bottom of this post of instructions
on how to make this little "Clear Envelope Brag Book",
changed up a bit to make it
a "SUPER CUTE little Recipe Book"!
This is what it looks like in the inside.  Don't you  just love it!
I sure do!  It's so festive and very easy to make.
The main page color in this view is Old Olive Card Stock.
Then I changed it up a little and used Cherry Cobbler Card Stock,
one of my new favorite red colors.
Paper used:  Jolly Holiday DSP  Card Stock: Whisper White,
Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Classic Stampin' Pads:  Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Sets:  From the Kitchen of #114964
the snowflake is from Season of Joy #110384
Homemade #116978
Tote-ally Tess #118595 (for "The best things
in life are made, not bought.")
Favories Things #115436  (for the design around
"The best things in life are made, not bought.)
Punches:  Modern Label, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle,
2 1/2" Circle
Misc:  Crop-A-dile (for holes for ribbon)
1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon
Clear Translucent Envelopes
Here is a close-up of how I put the book together
with the holes punched with the Crop-A-dile and
then adding the 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon.
This is a close up of the front of the recipe book.  I punched
an Old Olive 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and placed it under
the stamped Homemade image.   Click on the web address
to get step-by-step instructions by Corrinne Sommerville posted
on Splitcoaststampers.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL time creating these awesome
little Christmas Recipe Books.  Let your imagination go wild
with all the different things you can do with this idea.
Recipe books, address books, brag books, etc.
The ideas are endless!  I hope you enjoy!
Have a "VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a
HAPPY NEW YEAR"!

Happy stamping,
Bobbi

Happy Moments - flowers in a package of gifts???

Today is the SAB Challenge for our DOstamperSTARS Blogger's Challenge. It is a SAB Challenge. Going in the box, I have chosen the Happy Moments Stamp Set. I love the flowers but thought then needed a flower pot. If you haven't figured out what I used...I used the pile of 3 gifts, cut off the bow and turned it upside down and there you have it...a "flower pot" for the 3 flowers. I also used the Scallop Trim Corner punch and double punched the corners and also the Scallop Trim Border punch. Gotta love those flowers even though they are sticking out of the bottom of a pile of gifts. Well, Valentine's Day is just around the corner...I wonder who the lucky person will be to receive this card.
Supplies used: Real Red, Pretty In Pink & Whisper White Cardstock, Scallop Trim Corner punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, Happy Moments Stamp Set, Real Red, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink Markers.

Happy Moments - Birthday Cake...

I love this Happy Moments Stamp Set!
Not only was it fun to use on this card it was FREE!
Jan. 5 - Mar 31, 2010 is sale-a-bration. If you purchase $50 in Stampin' Up! product you can choose one of the free
items in the sale-a-bration book. This year there are 4 stamp sets, a 6 x 6" Designer Series Paper pad & a Scallop Trim Border Punch. Yes you heard me right...this year they have included a punch plus there are more stamp sets on the last page.
Doesn't this make you want to have a party?
Supplies used: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Pretty in Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon, the Scallop Trim Border punch, Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch, Pretty in Pink and YoYo Yellow Markers and a small piece of Designer Series Paper from the Sweat Pea Paper Pack.

Well Scripted - love you much

Have you ever wondered why most of the time you only see red, pink and white for Valentines? Well "out of the box" today I chose Real Red, Orchid Opulence and Whisper White cardstock, Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon, Real Red and Orchid Opulence Ink Pads and the stamp sets Well Scripted and Sweetheart Stamp Sets, Double Rectangle Punch to weave the ribbon through. My sister brought home a Christmas card from my mom who lives in Arizona. My mom thought it would be a great Stampin' Up! card idea. Isn't this just the cutest card? I never thought I'd ever put Real Red and Orchid Opulence together.

A New Beginning...

Well, this is definitely "Out of the Box with Bobbi". I never thought I'd have a blog but thinking outside the box definitely brings to light new ventures for me.
